KEY BISCAYNE, FLA. (WSVN) – Several migrants are now in police custody after coming ashore in Key Biscayne.
Officials responded to the scene along Crandon Boulevard, early Tuesday morning.
Miami-Dade Police said they detained 18 migrants, including both adults and children.
Police could be seen handing out water to the migrants who gathered on the ground on the side of the road.
Some migrants said they were dropped off and were walking for several hours before they were detained.
